So I'm still working on a design for the Old Skool webpage. If there is one design challenge that I have never overcome since I started doing web design, it's retro look designs. Oh sure this page has retro elements, but it's not a full on retro look. I think it's primarily because I'm trying to transfer a print design style to interactive screen design.
That said, I've seen some excellent designs online, and I'd like to emulate their look without entirely ripping them off.
Perhaps I'll never succed. Or perhaps I need to overcome this hurdle in order to truly forward my abilities.
