I'm ripping off today's post
OK....ummm...there's a reason I don't update this...I"m not really a blogger.
OK, I got my hair cut...it's short and great. I love.
New pope elected today. Benedict the 16th. I think we should have Pope Jesus I. Why can't they be named Jesus??? Or at least Peter.
OK, that's all.
Oh, and I think I'm gonna dye my hair tonight.
Sue me.

Anybody Seen my Frisbee?
I have no idea where it is. Last time I saw it was at my grandparents house after their 50th Anniversary. Maybe I left it there?
I really miss it.
I hired a police sketch artist to come up with a composite sketch of it.
Fucking jackoff. 2000 bucks for that. Dick.
Here's my sketch, included is my rendition of how happy I am using the frisbee.
If you know where the frisbee is or can return it, please contact me ASAP.

I have nothing to say
You know I could sit here all night and never find something to say, so here's a picture of the moon that I took.
Enjoy!

Well I'll be DAMNED
... yeah I know how much of a double meaning that title is...
So who the hell is this guy? -
yep, once again the college of cardinals have failed us all. Oh well, in the interest of peace in the Church, I've even given the new pope a nickname, Sweet Bennie 16. It's kinda cute, like him.
So "Viva il Papa" and we'll get e'm next time dad!

Pilon For Pope!
So the cardinals have entered the secret conclave, and the election for Pope has begun. Since the Vatican has done an excellent job of neutralizing outside influences, my work as campaign chairman to make my Dad Pope is pretty much done, but I thought I'd like to share with you some of the promotional materials that have been put up in churces and other places around the world.
The first Picture comes from the Trinity Catholic Church in Gimli, Manitoba. I called the Preist and discussed my father's campaign platform and he was more than happy to post a small message;
The next one was a long shot. Doing a little networking I came into contact with a minister from the Baptist church in French River, Nova Scotia. The minister felt that my Dad's platform would help unite the churches of the world and as such was enthusiastically willing to post his support for my father;
The Commercial world also got involved. In Pack Square in Ashville North Carolina a small group raised money and had this message put up on their town sign. A great bit of work for the cause;
So stay stuned. Because my father could be ordained Pope of Rome before the week is out. And if that happens, I'm on my way to sainthood and this blog will probably take up it's new place in the vatican.

It DOES matter if you're black or white!
OK so about 1 year - a year and a half ago I watched the movie Formula 51. An excellent movie simply for the fact that you have Sam jackson in a kilt. Nuff said. Anyway, the first time I watche dit was on an old peice of shit Zenith TV I got from my parents. The picture tube was shot on it, so the colour was pretty shot. To compensate, I just turned down the "Picutre" setting and just made it a black and white TV. In this form I would watch all the world's greatest Technicolour inventions, drained of their hue.
So I watched Formula 51... colourless and loved it. Never once noticed the lack of colour and put a new movie on my Top 10 List.
About a month ago I watched the movie again. This time on our brand new JVC big screeen, colour yada yada bullshit TV I didn't pay for. The important thing is this time, I saw it in colour.
It lost it's edge. I've always heard that black and white made stuff look better but I didn't know how till now. So I did some experiments ... check this one out.
Take this picture of Francis D. Cornworth, the High School senior who in 1999 aucitoned his "young man's virginity" on E-bay... receiving bids upwards of 10 bills .. 10 MILLION bills that is! ...
Ok so we have it... colour and not all that appetizing. So I pulled it into Photoshop and using the desaturate feature to "black and white" it (Image > Adjustments > Desaturate). Saved it and well would you look at the difference! ....
Holy Crap! Look at ol' Francis now! If he'd put his picture in black and white to start with.... he'd a been laid like Heff!
So one get's curious... will this work for me? So I grabbed an old picture of myself....
Gross. Possibly the worst picture I've ever taken. Greasy hair, need a shave ... and what's that in the back ground??? A DOUBLE GULP.... oh I pray to the Gods of Black and White that you can help me!
Dang! Look at me now! I'm throwing all my colour film away. Even that nasty old Big Gulp looks like a palm tree now!
So what am I getting at? Black and White can improve things. Next time you're gonnna sit down and watch a movie, try turning the colour down on your TV. I mean really for all the colour and special effects put into Star Wars : Episode 1, it still can't beat Citizen Kane. Infact if it weren't for the fact that I can't get wood unless I see a lightsaber battle, I'd never watch that peice of shit again. Citizen Kane with minimal effects and no colour - arguably the greatest film of all time. Star Wars : Episode 1 .. didn't even make the top 500.

So been working on getting the Pylon back up and running. shanna and I conciously put the site to sleep a couple months ago as it was too much work. we figured we'd get back to it, and strangely enough, we haven't
So now I'm on it. Plus I found us a new member (awesome) so that'll keep me happy for a while.
But back to work, just felt I needed some sort of post here for today.

OK! So back to the campaign trail!
So far we've got a dead lock on the name my dad will take as the new pope. So He could be Pope Wizzy Nizzle or Pope John SHAFT (Shut yo mouf!). Any is good. If you haven't voted yet, make sure to check out the survey.
The reason I'm getting on the push again is that Steve at "Blogginator" has also announced his candidacy for pope. And we can't have that. Because my dad wants it more.
SO NOW FOR SOME EMPTY CAMPAIGN PROMISES!!!!!
If Elected pope, my dad promises;
1) An English speaking pope, who can sing dirty songs in several languages.
2) Stories with no bearing onthe current conversation that you've heard a million times before.
3) Meatball night Tuesdays at the vatican kitchen
4) Can anybody say Saint Dave Thomas (for feeding square burgers to the worlds hungry)
5) 1 Hour Sunday morning mass will now be 4 hour Saturday night Dance for Jesus Dance Battle! Guest Stars, James Brown, Usher, those guys in the K-os videos and Roxette.
6) Movie night in St. Peters Square.
So remember when the conclave begins, vote Pilon for Pope, 'cause "you know you waaaaaannnnt it!"

Don't Pick Your Nose In Traffic
Oh yeah people, I can't say this enough. And not for the other people on the road. FOR YOU!
What if you suddenly were hit or hit something with your finger in your nose. None of us wants to look like this guy ;
Not to mention you'd have one hand busy. remember driver training, two hands on the wheel.
This has been a public service announcement from Pilot's World.

Napoleon SO Dynamite
I take it all back. Everything about Napoleon Dynamite is pure genius, I watched it again. Last weekend. While in Weyburn. Abusing my body with drugs and rock n' roll. I'm about 15 feet from death now.
Went out this weekend too, to a bachelor party. Everclear is not a drink, it's a harsh household cleaner.
I have the day off tommorrow, I'll make a better blog entry then.
